And to think it all started as an online book retailer in Jeff Bezos's garage on Northeast 28th Street in Bellevue, Washington back in 1994.
Oh, simpler times back then. :angel
Anyone with a good idea and a will to win can do the same as Jeff did in the USA, Over here you have no chance with all the lockdowns and silly regulations and uncertainty of Brexit where is my oven ready deal wibble wobby Boris and his minions.

I believe it was set up shortly after Xmas 2013 when large amounts of their parcels will still sat in delivery offices come Christmas Day as the network couldn’t cope with it all.

Over here they set it up as we were threating to go on strike at the time but nothing much came of the threat or the strike or the terms and conditions or bullying non payment of overtime.

Ashley, it's a sackable offense.
You asked a question to the clued up lot on here, the clued up lot gave you the answer, which is you can't do it.
Ask wiki where your nearest dole office is while you're on there.

Conflict of interest?

Examples of conflicts of interest:
• You work for (e.g. as an employee or subcontractor), receive payment from or advertise any organisation that is in
competition with Royal Mail.

You must not work for a competitor of Royal Mail Group under any circumstances

ROYAL MAIL EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENTS AT A GLANCE

Royal Mail’s share price surged nearly 8% today amid heavy trading volumes after reports said it was in a battle with Amazon to win a contract to deliver hundreds of thousands of coronavirus home testing kits...

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I understand why Royal Mail would not wish for any of it's staff to work part-time for any of our competitors, but I'm surprised that Amazon do not have a similar policy?

Surely they would not like any of their part time employers working for one of their competitors?
