I received an email today reminding me to complete the Document Check for my Christmas Casual application.
I have already provided these documents to uCheck at my local Post Office on 23/10 and I have a receipt which confirms that "ID Verified Successfully - Client updated".
I attended the Post Office to see if they could provide any further information on the situation and they told me that my application was marked "Response 99 - Code 7002" and told me I should be contacted by the team but this has yet to happen.
Any ideas what is happening?

I don't know what that means but I'm having trouble with mine too. My application in my profile says further action required after I done the ID check at the post office. I done the ID check on 26th Oct and yesterday got an email reminder to take my ID in. Just tried to do it again and they scanned the barcode and said it shows it's already been done. I've emailed them but my deadline is tomorrow so think I'm going to miss out now.

I went to another Post Office in the hope of getting someone more experienced to help me out.
It was another young guy but he seemed to think there was nothing wrong with the application and I just had to wait on being contacted.
So maybe I'm at "Step 5 - ‘Further Action Required’" instead of "Step 2 - ‘Further Action Required’".
I don't know if it should take this long for my security and vetting checks to clear though:
My Invitation to Document Check was on Oct 23rd, which I completed within the hour.
Then I received "Reminder - Royal Mail Invitation to Document Check" on Oct 28th which caused all this fuss making me think my documents weren't accepted.
If I've not heard anything within 2 weeks I'll just see what else is available.
Has anyone else who applied to Wishaw/Eurocentral been accepted or given shifts yet?

I think we are actually ok, I sent an email and got an automated response. Sounds like they're still just completing the checks. Part of it says:
Post Office Reminder
If you received a reminder asking you to go to the Post Office and you’ve already been, we do apologise. There does appear to be a glitch in our system which results in these emails being generated incorrectly. As long as the Post Office confirmed that your document check was processed and/or you’ve received the printed receipt showing: ‘Verified Successfully – Client Updated’, then you don’t need to do anything further.
The next stage in the application process is for your DBS checks to be requested. This happens automatically, but this stage can sometimes take a few weeks to be completed. You will then be contacted by a recruiter regarding a job offer. Please note: your application will still show as ‘further action required’ until your DBS checks have been returned.

I'm crossing my fingers.
I was probably too hopeful thinking that I'd get my full 12 weeks worth of work.

Received a response to my email about second verification:

You will then be contacted by a recruiter regarding a job offer. There are a lot of applications in the pipeline though, and we are working through applications in date order, so you may have a while to wait.
Most of the roles on offer will commence November / December time, but a small number of opportunities may be available earlier.

I've still not heard anything but now when I log in to my profile the application status is rejected so guess I'm not getting anything. I hate not knowing if it was an issue with my ID or if they don't have any shifts left but I applied back in September and have completed every step as soon as they've asked.

Ring up the office / mail centre you would have worked at and see if you can get the name of the RM guy organising the Christmas casual staffing - they should have contact tel and/or email - my office does and I've referred people to him myself.Camerol wrote:I've still not heard anything but now when I log in to my profile the application status is rejected so guess I'm not getting anything. That sucks that your application was cancelled. Was there any explanation?
Where did you apply to?
