Have the appropriate risk assessments been taken at each site? Have the oxygen levels been tested at each site? Have the masks that are supplied passed any testing or accreditation? What are the supplied masks made of chemically?

The British Lung Foundation advises that “[w]earing a mask does not reduce a person’s oxygen supply,” even for those with lung conditions.

The only thing i can find states " strongly recommends" . This isnt a mandatory instruction.
Personally im in favour of mask wearing in all public places. Unfortunately if it isnt mandatory then most wont bother.

I'm only against this as it's 6 months to late, and the national bullying culture is more of a concern to me. I'll go out on a whim here and say bullying in RM has caused more pain than covid ever will within RM.

The paperwork i was given says masks are voluntary. Joint statement from cwu and rm. Manager said they are mandatory but the statement says voluntary.

There you go same as the law, if you have a medical exemption you dont have to wear one.

Somebody asked ask the manager this morning do you have to wear your mask while working at your frame or is it just to be worn when walking around the building or going to the toilet. The manager wasn't sure of the answer. Does anybody know anymore on this

We were told a mask must be worn ( indoors ) on RM premises except for whilst eating / drinking on your break. Conduct issue will follow if you don’t adhere, excluding medical exemption of course
