November Lockdown

We have completely wasted the opportunity to prepare and educate for the inevitable second wave because apparently it's cooler to undermine public health messaging than to follow it.
This virus isn't going away, just like the common cold or seasonal flu. It will be here even if we lockdown for 6 months because some people like us will have to go to work. Until nobody has a job or money left. The virus does not care if we are in lockdown or not, it will infect people anyway.

Blame lies with everyone not just the government. Dominic Cummings is and idiot and yes should of been made an example of. But that doesn't mean people should of followed in his footsteps. He didnt force people to do the same thing, everyone made their own choice.

Beaches packed full, national parks setting new records for visitor numbers, getting drunk and protesting before regional lockdowns come into force, ignoring social distances, not wearing masks, illegal raves and parties, list is endless.

Its easy to blame one person but people need to wake up and accept the blame lies with everyone.

The consequences of blame is not the same as setting laws of which if you set laws should abide by them if not all hell would break lose this is a leadership issue if you cannot lead ship out Boris!

If people had been allowed to go overseas on holiday perhaps our parks and beaches wouldn't have been so packed. If people had still been at work in a covid secure manner instead of having an impromptu retirement or gap yr , maybe the infection rates would have been more stable. There will be infection rates, it's not going away until enough people have caught it, thats how it works. Oh yeah, if all the above had happened maybe the world economy would have survived, with all the associated benefits of that. Maybe Boris should just tell it how it is. Paint a true picture of the enormous social and economic hardship that awaits for decades to come ... because people have been too thick so far. It is very simple to practice good hygene and be socially aware of your surroundings. Why was a ban on alcohol not even mentioned? A big cause of infection rates when people get drunk. We probably know that answer though.

I feel pity for the pub's being blamed for this probably 5% infection rate if that most will now never open again yet university's the biggest spreaders of the lot allowed to go on, It's only because someone has to pay the vice chancellors salaries of £500,000 a year and all the people who own student accommodation and need rent's payed to them some own hundreds millions of pounds of property to let to students. Most of them donate to the conservative party Boris probably has a go fund me page so they can donate for all his kids school meals!

That's not how the common cold works.
That's not how the flu works.
That's not how any infectious respiratory disease works.
So let's see your working on "that's how it works" ...

Regional lockdowns are a bit of a joke when government announces when so on so will go into force. Idiots then piling the streets the night before dancing drunk.

Test and trace? People value their privacy and don't want them the government to know when they pop into ann summers for lube. Then blame the system which isn't enforced when they can't remember who they were near to or where they have been.

To wear or not to wear a mask debate. Illegal raves, weddings, numerous mass protests throughout this year, the list goes on.

Blame lies with everyone not just the government.
A second wave in winter was inevitable, the failing of the government is they were too inept to use summer to prepare for it.

So we're in the same position as before, a choice between letting loads of people die, or destroying the economy.

And this Tory lot are so incompetent, they'll do both.

Destroying the economy will lead to loads of people dying.

We need a proper evaluation of this as schools are the primary cause of this we cannot meet any other family in our own family but my kid can go to school with 30 to 40 other kids in the same classroom. Madness!
