There is superposed to be a enquiry about this after the virus has abated whether it is a public enquiry or just one behind the closed doors of parliamentary privilege but till then?

So if in two weeks we all start dropping like fly's again not that I know anyone who has even had the virus in the first place apart form me feeling a bit bad earlier in the year!

Anyway who needs microchipping injections or cameras in their bedrooms bathrooms or a tracking device? You all have a contact number most have a mobile phone and as many have a smart phone ie camera tracking device GPS and a list of contacts how useful for any government to be able to use this information under a pretext of a virus. Which could be flu or a cold virus. It would soon be necessary for travel or just leaving ones house to go to work for you to have the device with you as they are going to a cash less society and phasing out ATM'S CASH POINTS over here so you will need some kind of chip even in a card credit debit or store card. Reality only hits home when your alone because an app on your phone tells you to go home self isolate and you have no food in your fridge and the kids come home with covid on their phone. And the testing sites have all gone home and the police are banging on the door because you have another person visit you.

And in reality your spinning in your mind that your not that kind of person who mix with the wrong kind of persons yet the police are banging down your door till it's on the floor. Yet the crowd's of people gather outside thinking it's a drug bust they all get £10,000 fines and at the station your presented with a charge of incitement to riot just because you said we should all walkout on here!

Well it is real and it is a virus this thing could have been going around the world for 5 years before it was discovered as for it being deadly in the world today 45 million confirmed cases with a test deaths 1.17 million or 2.6% and with the non test cases probably 770 million people according to the World Heath Organization 770 million divided by 1.2 million say = 0.25% case fatality rate or well less than influenza. In the UK we saw 328,000 cases and near 40,000 deaths or 12% before the end of the first peak now we are at 965,340 cases and 45,955 deaths or 4.75% this trend is over Europe as well but do not forget most people do not even have a test or symptoms and are not in these numbers. We can thus conclude it is a virus and is deadly for some and is probably no more deadly than the Influenza virus but more deadly than a cold virus and less deadly than cancer and TB and a host of other viruses but it would have been wise to spend on heath care systems in the event of a virus given that they the government have known about this virus since February this year!

I must confess to being confused by the title of this thread. Is covid 19 real or is it just another virus?? Well unless you've been living in a cave this year,it's been reported that over one million people in the world have died from covid19. What makes you think that the virus isn't real?

Depends upon strain of virus and it's mutation did you know there are 74 types of flu virus that have been discovered yet more strains will be found in the future. If you look back to 1918 the Spanish influenza virus killed far more people than Covid 19 ever will by itself the 1968 Hong Kong virus killed far more than covid 19 has so far it is not a question of how deadly the virus is but of the lack of response by governments in terms of heath care provision especially in the UK!

Well then the answer is that we are in a pandemic and this virus is quite deadly to old and vulnerable people. That might not be you but no responsible government should just allow a pandemic to take hold and spread without taking actions to try and curb it.
