There is absolutely no need for vaccines to extinguish the pandemic. I’ve never heard such nonsense talked about vaccines. You do not vaccinate people who aren’t at risk from a disease. You also don’t set about planning to vaccinate millions of fit and healthy people with a vaccine that hasn’t been extensively tested on humans. One thought piece suggests that anyone who refuses vaccination should be subject to indefinite house arrest (Mello et al, 2020). In some countries, there is talk of “no jab, no job”. There have even been job adverts for openings in NHS Wales for people to “oversee the vaccination of the entire population”. Any such proposals are not only completely unnecessary but if done using any kind of coercion at all, illegal. I would completely understand and would consider accepting early use of a vaccine only if done with fully informed consent and, even then, only if offered to the most vulnerable in our community. Other proposals have, to me, the whiff of evil about them and I will oppose them as vigorously as I have followed the pandemic so far.

So true, rambo1. Unfortunately, too many people are incapable of thinking for themselves......they watch the BBC news or read their daily newspaper and accept everything reported as truth. I don't know if it's laziness, low intelligence, or if they're just scared to confront something they don't want to believe is happening......

The truth is what is presented by the media of your nation you can go online and searches on this side of the world will not show you what you get in the US or Germany even the internet is controlled over here unlike other nations. The problem with our nation is one of lack of representation of the nation and by fact we now are entering very turbulent times with BREXIT would it not look good if your oven ready deal was not done on time or even prepared if you were sick with the ravages of a virus that has killed 1 million people out of 7.7 billion people on this planet or 44000 OUT OF 67 Million in the UK. The facts are this Boris is in a tailspin he is out of his depth could not handle it before the virus and is using the virus as an excuse for that excuse to work he needs to decimate the economy of the nation so as to save face, Hell he don't even care he cannot support all his wives and kid's on his pittance of a salary of £155,000 a year plus expenses and use of a voyager A330 jet plane painted in garish red white and blue livery. Perhaps he may well be the last British priminister of the UK for all the good he has served this nation he could do no worse than for fill his promise and die in a ditch!

Certainly not this government and the clowns they take advice from!Ferguson has lied time and time again about projected death tolls for Bird flu, Swine flu and now Covid 19. I prefer to listen to respected and qualified people of medicine, people such as Dr Martin Kulldorff, professor of medicine at Harvard University, a biostatistician, and epidemiologist with expertise in detecting and monitoring infectious disease outbreaks and vaccine safety evaluations.
Dr Sunetra Gupta, professor at Oxford University, an epidemiologist with expertise in immunology, vaccine development, and mathematical modeling of infectious diseases.
Dr Jay Bhattacharya, professor at Stanford University Medical School, a physician, epidemiologist, health economist, and public health policy expert focusing on infectious diseases and vulnerable populations.
Even the WHO have said that lockdowns don't work, but chancers like Hancock and Whitty still push for them....

This is what I hate about the Internet, people pick and choose bits they like and ignore the bits they don't. The WHO have never at any point said that lockdowns don't work.

They acknowledge that they come with consequences.
The don't believe that they should be the primary measure, that should be social distancing and hand washing and they believe they should be short and sharp but they do believe they are necessary.

You have to gather the facts from different sources, use your own intelligence to think about it in an impartial and independent way. For example 'death rate for covid' you could test positive for covid ,or even false positive, with no symptoms, then get run over and die three weeks later and according to the government criteria you have died from covid. Do you see what I mean?

Only covid19 related deaths are counted by the ONS which means there has to be a correlation between the death and covid19.
These figures are higher than the government's.

I place my faith in a minority of Doctors that I have named.......a minority of Doctors that I have listened to.......a minority of Doctors that I have read about. That is how we form opinions.
You, on the other hand, have placed your faith in a majority of unnamed Doctors. Which leads me to the conclusion that you are just blindly following the government narrative. And that is fine, that is your prerogative. You are not alone, the nation is split on this subject - some believe every word they hear from the BBC news, Sky news etc.....others choose not to.

Yep, the person that died was not given the vaccine, but was given a placebo. The other that fell ill was determined unrelated. These things happen in trials all the time, but you don't here about them usually.
