I know what Non culpable means and I know what efficiency means just don’t know what it means when you put those words together. Seems to be being used in connection with tracking individuals and performance standards which would imply individuals WOULD be held culpable for any “inefficiency’s” flagged up.

NCI......non culpable inefficiency. Basically not meeting the standard but not deliberately.

Non culpable inefficiency is a legal nightmare and not a route Royal Mail would ever go down as a business wide tool to improve standards.

That's definitely a pile of horseshit.

if talks are as s**t as this makes out why arent the CWU telling the members ? , and why are they agreeing with any trials or anything else with the company until this dispute was resolved or taken seriously  ,as its a f***ing joke the way staff are being treated and the workload at the moment and will only get worse , so come on tell the members what the score is as i think most of the members have had enough now and the company have dragged this out long enough .

Best thing is to carry on and work at a pace that the employer has deemed fit on two years ago and go 3% slower or about that as the cost of living has gone up by far more if the new CEO and his spiv friends cannot see that they all need shipping out!

They can take off as many "minutes" as they like, same amount of work to do but less time! Has anyone had work taken off them to cover the last hour they took off us or are we doing the work but with less time to do it?

Why would they take work off you if the whole idea was to improve efficiency?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Bring it back or don't take it out tell your manager you cannot do it in the time allowed.

But if they get their way it'll then be " But such and such can do it in the time , why can't you ? Shall we talk about non culpable efficiency and when you will be leaving the business ? "

Any shorter working week will have plenty of strings attached. Its no surprise that the business would want to use PDA actuals in some form. If they know some postie's are regularly finishing 2 hours early they will want to know why they aren't doing any extra work or why managers are allowing them to leave early
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.
