I am offended about the bit saying loyalty to DW was put above duty to the membership. I voted yes because after reading the aggrement through that was my genuine opinion!

Simple as that!

More left of Labour socalist parties meddling.

Particularly the London branches leaderships, traditionally among the most militant, sold the line that pensions are a separate issue, that flexibility would not be so bad in London (defying the trade union principle of defending the week as well as the strong), and even that London could put special measures in place to safeguard against the worst aspects of flexibility. Which rather begs the question as to why, if the deal were acceptable, such measures would be necessary? It also ignores the fact that, even if management do go for the weaker workplaces first, they will certainly go for the stronger ones later.

I thought that London was against the deal. Why are they singling out London? Remember it was 64% that endorsed this agreement, and that was countrywide. I'm sure that it wasn't just our London mates that sold us out. By the way, I'm not from, living in or going to London. (Drat, I was trying to mention London by name at least 5 times. Wait I have, woo-hoo)

I voted NO because the WHOLE of the CWU members would be signing a BAD DEAL... In my opinion....

Feck just London.... I love London and Im a Cockney and proud of it But that dont mean i would shite on my fellow CWU members around the country.... NEVER.....

The North vs South devide is only there if WE let it be.....

London will be worse off as a lot of deliveries are getting done before time there whereas outside London this is not so much the case.

If you are working to time anyway there is little they can ask you to do to be more flexible......ie taking an extra road for someone who is sick for no pay.

The London reps have lied to the members again and management have now been handed another stick with which to beat workers.
