Yeah, our office has become insouciant lately. The managers no longer feel obligated in caring for their staff's or their own well-being anymore.

Once the Xmas casuals start there won't be a hope in hell of social distancing, then once we start processing both inward and outward on all shifts then there will be even less chance of social distancing happening

Bloody joke in our office, not enough room, too many staff, depends wot mood managers, reps in.knob heads shouting, singing and pissing about.Nothing said.We did have a visit but it was after 9.

We now have staff that have tested positive, which in turn is leading to their partner(s) having to isolate.
Practically the whole office still not distancing, even sharing lifts into work etc.
Loud shouting, singing, sneezing and coughing without covering mouths.
It's pretty grim.

"Hey rep! The runners and idiots aren't observing the social distancing rules. They're right next to you grabbing parcels from the bullring as you're sorting and the same for manual letters. Not that taking letters from the rear of a backless primary is any better. Not enough distance from the guy beside you sorting the parcels either."

"No one took a blind bit of notice after the first half hour and it hasn't been mentioned since"

Is the poor social distancing part of the reason why van sharing is being proposed, because depot linos/managers are observing poor standards by OPGs indoors?

My depot has definitely got worse in recent weeks, now back up to 4+ people parcel sorting and nothing like 1m+ distancing being observed... Without masks.

work in the afternoons so doesn't really apply to me. I don't work near anyone but if I do I distance.

In the morning nobody's ever given a rat's ass about it. It's down to each postie to be responsible at the end of the day. You can't just pass the buck onto the reps or the managers when Joe & Jane refuse to follow best practise en masse.
