We had them once, now have gone even bigger.
I just took it to mean they'd added some bases (length wise) and double slotted them. Anything with less space than a standard frame would be a bloody nightmare. 
I even use the little corner shelves which some dickheads didn't bother fitting when we last moved/updated our frames.
