And of course the WHO has always been a reliable source of information if we remember back to January/February when they said it was not going to spread and believed everything that the Chinese government told them.
As a organisation its reliant on countries reliably informing them of the virus. China being a communist country didn't tell them everything and one would expect their death rate to be far higher than that reported. Bit strange how they don't seem to be having this 2nd wave like us though and yet they all seem to be wearing facemasks?
Its abundantly obvious to me that its only the people in countries that have a complete intolerance to following the guidelines that seem to be having problems getting rid of this virus.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.
Face coverings must be worn by retail, leisure and hospitality staff working in areas that are open to the public and where they’re likely to come into contact with a member of the public. This includes:
shops
supermarkets
bars
pubs
restaurants
cafes
banks
estate agents
post offices
public areas of hotels and hostels
These are public facing areas that are workplaces. Workplaces without the public do not have to wear masks.
Ahhh So the Virus only infects the public NOT the workers!?? Got you! Clever Virus!!!

If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next
I've been told this week that all new Christmas casual staff will be required to wear masks at my mail centre. They had their inductions this week and they all had them on for that too.
People have exemptions to them for health reasons also so what are you suggesting they would have to do?
Get a note from the doctor.
Like what you have to do to be exempt from wearing Royal Mail footwear.
Shouldn't be a problem if the reason is.... genuine.
Stop all the bullshit excuses from people who just can't be arsed.
There's very few genuine reasons. .
You don't need a note your pervious medical records should suffice if it came to court and masks don't work as the virus will go through them as the particles are so small so this is not about prevention but subjugation. Name one good thing the government did right and lock down does not count you cannot nothing has been done right it has been one balls up to another!

Why would the government (and others) crash the economy thus having to borrow billions of pounds?
If they'd wanted to "control" us why would they have bothered to relax the lockdown once it was in place?
Genuinely interested in your reasoning.
The virus is real it is a coronavirus of 2019 vintage China hyped it up/released it because the sanctions the US and Donald J Trump heaped upon them and they tried to trash the economy's of the western world so as not to cause a recession or calling in the creditors of the China debt so this is a diversion tactic by a first strike capability that no one could foresee. As with all wars all nations will use their capabilities and we don't know all of them till we prod them with a big stick and their will be big causality's with Donald J Trumps war on China and the world with his America First policy! We as a nation are signed up to everything America does and with that Capitalism someone will have to pay this whole debt back and it will not be the rich or one Donald J Trump for his war of dependence on him and his backers!

Not mandatory in our office. Nor is social distancing between employees prepping at the same frame. Even the delivery line managers ain't wearing masks in our office.
Mask's do not work it was said by the Chief Medical Officer in April then mask's spread the virus as people touch them all the time breath more heavily and have to shout to make themselves heard. And what of the environment with all these mask's strewn on the street along with rubber gloves and the cost of production and delivery and disposal of them Is nothing short of environmental disaster. All this for a common cold virus which the human race has and will in time defeat by our own bodily systems of evolutionary immunity. In the mean time we should protect those who are vulnerable but also stay with social distancing and proper hand hygiene and ditch the mask's they do not work the virus is RNA it is so small it goes through most mask's and is airbourne it cannot be eradicated or controlled it is a global problem and as such will never be controlled by such methods the only thing we should do is stop the NHS being overwhelmed and that was done by May of this year. Test and trace was not world class and is still failing but what do you expect with Dido Harding in charge the Talk Talk CEO who released all the data about all their customers. Law's are one thing compliance is another!
Health aside my worry isn’t that it will be made mandatory to wear them indoors (methinks it’s only a matter of time until we have to wear them in the sorting office).
My big concern is we’ll have to wear them outdoors like Italy, Spain etc. I struggle to wear them doing a half hour supermarket shop, feel very sick and dizzy, but I know I have no real reason to be exempt.
But can you imagine having to wear one outdoors, on your 12 mile round, it would be awful in winter and near impossible in the summer.
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

I wore face masks during July, August, and September. And I still do now. I didn't have a problem wearing them on my walk, although it does help to carry a few in one's pocket so they can be changed regularly.
It's very unlikely that outdoor wearing of masks will ever be mandatory in this country, even in Spain and Italy it is only in "public spaces" like parks and plazas where large crowds tend to gather. The Daily Mail and The Sun are not reliable sources of information. They like to fan the flames of public outrage a bit.
Maybe they think they can control a virus which is all over the world well they cannot nor can any nation it is well beyond control now we need a new strategy the one I propose is looking after the vulnerable the sick and the elderly and food delivery is just the very start we need these people in communication with their loved ones it can have a dual benefit effect that they can communicate with their great grand kids. Instead we send them out into the big wide world post lockdown apocalypse and someone with a 5 day old mask touching their face puts their hand on the walk rail 20 seconds before they use it. really it sums it up that people can be told to do by these people you listed but that does not apply to them!

Wearing a one-day old, five-day, six-day old, or simply a very old disposable face mask is more than stupid. I wear those same disposable types provided at work, and change them regularly during my walk, disposing of them responsibly. And a cloth face mask is far better as long as they are washed daily with spares on hand.
I mean, if anyone is that farking stupid not to do the obvious, then I wouldn't be surprised if Darwinism culls those prebiotic soup, single brain cell organisms from the face of this planet. Fark 'em!
