Was successful for Mail Sorter position, contract says 'postman' and I am being told that they are the same thing suddenly despite seeing postman jobs as different. Can anyone clarify is this correct or am I being led a merry dance for some reason?

Mail sorter would/should be in a mail centre....sorting mail.
