A manager will be round with a clipboard tomorrow asking who will and won’t van share. Those who don’t will be punished with late shifts. You watch.
Only if you regard a late shift as a punishment.
Makes f**k all difference to me.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

It's voluntary, until you say no to van sharing... Then management will threaten you with working backshift 2 till 10pm or something...

ok, so two in a van on delivery then one or other or even both gets a notification whilst on duty via the NHS Covid-19 App that they have been in close proximity of someone testing positive, what then?, both abandon delivery due to having to self isolate?, am on the understanding that one can receive a notification at a moments notice?

So you sign a bit of paper that says your ok to van share....You or your partner in the van tests positive....You are off sick.......RM say 'ah no sick pay' because you knew the risks. That's the reality that's the farce.

Yeah and why put all the liability onto yourself?

Its madness

Ye just know it would come back and bite you on the arse and the minute something goes wrong

''we didnt instruct you to, you made the decision yourself''
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

Yes but why would you?

People need to stop helping this company take that pound of flesh, you’re supplying the knife.

Your car is not a company asset to complete the job.
You don’t owe them anything.

Common sense we as adults can decide if we are happy to sit next to a workmate if we are not then we dont have to.
