LTB 459/20 - JOINT STATEMENT - PAY AND SHORTER WORKING WEEK

Post by toonshola »

I take the point about a demotivated workforce not being as productive. But this is Royal Mail, it’s a different land to other workplaces. There are many in my office who are seriously pissed off with Royal Mail and the workload right now, yet they continue to come in early, skip breaks and run around to get done. It will never ever change.

Only in a poorly run Mickey Mouse outfit like RM..
None of it is difficult to stop, especially if people start seeing their P45.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Clash

Why would they give people doing extra work their P45????
They love it.
In fact they tell other Opg`s .If they can do it so can You.

It`s difficult if you have no union Rep, Or a Soft Lad

Granted its poorly run always has been I think its always been the calibre of people who they train up and the type of training they do :hmmmm but royal mail is definitely not a Mickey mouse outfit..........the likes of Hermes or yodel definitely Mickey mouse as I constantly get packets chucked over my gate landing in random places in my garden!

Why not just do the d2d in rows, 4 rows over 4days (I think all frames have 4rows) and always take the row with d2d if cutting off.

Hmm looking like our £200 covid payment for being key workers is our pay rise for this year, except it's a one off payment and not a pay rise that equates to a grand total of £3.84 per week before tax for a calendar year. Cheers and all that...
