HCT weight limit

Can anybody please give me the total weight allowed of an HCT with mail in it? Cheers

There is more than one size of HCT. They usually have their weight limit on them somewhere.

Unless you have a drive on scales you will have to weigh individual loops/bags if you have serious concerns about total overall weight ! What I do know is...that unless you have a good ( ie freemoving barrow with good wheel bearings and brakes that aren't permanently on !) HCT , it can be a hell of a push...and a long demanding day. I prefer the Mark 2 offering ... despite the misgivings of our local RM engineer/fitter... who tells me they are s**t* ! ! !

Don't they have a sticker somewhere, i thinks 127kg that's including the HCT itself.

105 on the one i use. its an older 'cro-magnon' one though from the upper paleolithic period when deliveries were only 3.5 hours long.

I thought they had phased out the MK1 trollies.

Thanks for the replies. Mine is a MK2 and the weights sticker has worn away. Had an idea it was around the 120kg mark. Manager forced a guy opposite me to ram in two days of letters and packets into his HCT. Looked way over weight. Guy didn't bother weighing it and went out with it. I hear my delivery didn't go out yesterday so i want to be armed with the correct weights if he tries it on with me! I see other HCT people going out with another bag on their back and pushing a full HCT. That can't be right either?

its done at ours...although they dont carry the extra bag/s they just hang it on one of the hook things on either side of the trolley.
