postyparker, don,t stop speaking your mind. far too often people on this forum share the same views and it gets a bit boring, but do develope a thick skin, if you can stand the heat it,s quite good on here at times. when you do start work for rm think of yourself as going to school because rm IS just like being in school. petty managers and postmen, whinging, bullying brilliant piss taking ect. but you soon realise you are amongst like minded people. ps if you work down south you get the same wage as a northern postie but you subsidise him through paying more council tax!! watch that one stir them up, i,m off to sing a song.

I just think I was a bit out of order speaking about certain things without knowin the facts.

To be honest anyone could say what they want and I wouldn't give a crap or take offence, a bit of banter is a laugh at end of the day

Right! Thats it! Me and another ten blokes from north of Brum feel intimidated by that post Tommo!
Try a bottle of Brakspeares Triple. It's similar to Old Tom and 7.2%. Old Suffolk is a good beer as well, but it's not easy to get up here.

They say the Breakespeares gets better with age Tommo because it's bottle conditioned.

have to admit that northern bitter is better than most of ours down here. have to rely on bottled beer in essex for decent taste. banana beer is nice , mind you if you go too far north ie scotland they have no idea about beer.

Make sure you ask for "heavy" if you drink bitter in Scotland.

But I'm told that there are plenty of well paid part time jobs good for boosting earnings down there, and we're always hearing of wll those from the south-east who pocket a fortune selling their house and moving to a larger one at half the price the other side of Watford Gap.

I don't mind those thick malty ales though Norbet. McEwans Champion goes down very well.
