Do you feel safe at your Workplace? Poll

Post by iHateD2Ds »

Royal Mail social distance rules where virtually non existent in my office but recently everything other urinal, sink in the toilets have been taped off and every other ips frame.

Well better late than never!

I caught the virus 4 months ago and thankfully recovered (but not fully) and it scares me to think what a second dose would do to me and my family.

To avoid the commotion I now start my shift later.

The Question is : Do you feel safe at your workplace?

Can't keep the c***s away from you at our office. Invading your meter plus space to grab whatever you're sorting be it parcels or even the letters. Although we have the primary sealed off they will NOT stick to the rear of the frame.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Most certainly not.
Some people are now back to 2 at a RM2000 frame (not just for a few seconds, I'm talking prolonged) to get them out the door quicker and finishing earlier.

I feel as safe at my workplace as I do anywhere else.
I know of people who think they might have had Covid but don't know of anyone who has actually had it.
As long as you don't get near people coughing or sneezing or get near large numbers of the people mostly likely to catch and pass on & die from Covid then you are fairly safe. Cities or large conurbations are the worst places to go to.

With 3000 infections today I think its almost certain we will be in full lockdown before the end of September even allowing for Boris delaying a decision. Don't panic buy but might be an idea to buy items such as flour, macaroni, milk powder, tinned spaghetti etc if you typically use those items. Although don't bake and eat excessive amounts of cakes as it's obese people that are most likely to not survive Covid.
The views I express here are mine alone and do not represent the views of Royal Mail Group.

I don't think Boris will go straight for a full national lockdown. I think he'll try local/regional full lockdowns first and only do a national full lockdown if it gets too bad around the whole of the UK

I have full confidence in the highly trained professionals around me at work it is when I hit the streets I get really worried and the general public dithering in my way and obstructing my progress!
