Flexible working

So apparently here in Belfast we are now on flexible contracts of employment as the management are now telling staff that if they finish before there time at any point they owe royal mail the time back. And if its heavy any days that week that they can't cut off. The union rep in the office knows all about this according to management and has done nothing to stop it. They are also telling part timers that if they finish before there time it will be deducted from there wages. Where is the CWU?

Yip im aware of this but they have been doing this now for weeks at my office to the point where people now believe they have to.

And not only that they are checking pda actuals and telling staff they owe them time.

On the days you finish early,present yourself to your line manager, but don’t go home early.

correct dont finish early
but the major problem is the ones who take out extra bit and allowed to piss off home early there the good guys
and if you have a harder/bigger delivery and are working to time your the bad one

Its a weird world we work in isn't it do less work get the praise do more work get more till you break!

FFS bud scream blue bloody murder to your area rep and get the office rep booted. Don't stand for the inevitable shite of 'ooh but we will have no rep'. Anyone can stand in for an office rep if you liase with the area rep, they will help and advise.

Ah, I remember those days.
Blue eyed boys on the 3 hour duties getting big thanks from the manager for taking out 30 mins 'extra' work. Then they demand the same from you on your 4.5-5 hour run.
