Beggars belief that many of our co-workers seem quite happy to load the cost of wear and tear of a vehicle on delivery onto themselves. Even if at the moment they are just doing three or four loops and back to the car, you just know the company will start taking the piss with more and more work loaded into your own car, something leaks in there, more stopping and starting, inability to manage the correct workload that you wish to do once they start dropping mail/parcels off at your house, inability to claim overtime. That's how it will go unless you insist on the company doing the right thing and providing you with the means to deliver and start and finish at your place of work.

Another possibility is that they might go over to using owner/drivers
