Self isolation

Forgive me if this has been asked a hundred times before but I’m confusing myself trying to read all the info! If I’ve been advised to self isolate for 14 days by NHS track and trace do I get paid?

Double-check with your H&S rep but I am 99% sure that because you have received medical advice you will receive pay while you self isolates, as long as you have not exhausted sick pay. When you contact the manager explain where you got the advice from, and if possible provide documentary evidence (text message track and trace sent to you).

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
