Our rep is also a Workplace Coach and spends most of his life running the office thanks to a weak and clueless DOM.

So he's helping the Dom to a nice bonus (when they're paid again) then. That's nice of him .

It is about £40/week. That's 2 grand a year.

He relishes in it. He is now solely in charge of the duty roster and all leave booking - go to a manager about either and you are told to speak to the rep. If the rep then doesn't like your question you are told to eff off.

Running the office for £40/ week extra. Is his name Mr muggins. Why doesn't he apply for a managers job?

As I've already said, he relishes it - he seems to get off on causing problems for people. Throw in the overtime he always does, despite rarely doing deliveries, and the thrill of peeing people off and he obviously thinks its worth it. Just on a big power trip.

Like most Reps just on a power trip, but achieve very little for the members.

RM seems to breed these types for some reason. The number of wannabe managers at our place is quite frankly astonishing.

The next revision/re-pick is going to be very interesting, especially if a couple of the office cry baby’s get their noses put out of joint

One day last week I met our workplace coach walking around a car park.
He had his phone set to count down every 1 minute 55 seconds.
According to him as long as he moved every 2 minutes nothing would show up on the PDA dashboard and nobody would know he was finished an hour early.
I left him to it but you really do have to wonder why he is being paid extra.

You also have to question why an adult is acting in this way. I’d like to think my 13yr old daughter has grown out of such silly antics

Literally walking around the same car park for a whole hour?

I'd rather do an hour extra work as at least the time would pass quicker.
