We got told by our DOM that RM are desperate for a smooth xmas after their problems this year.
He was even told that he should not worry to much about his spend and make sure everyone is happy and the customers get a good service.
Also at the bottom of the deal is a certain Glenn Russell is that the same Glenn Russell that was the SOM in Enfield?

Yeah do i!
He is one horrible tosser. Had many a dealing with him in the AL/EN/WD area.
A typical hard nosed RM manager with no thought for anyone else..........unless he's changed?

:Applause Well done to all at SW I'm afraid our SA deals have long gone - RM up here say they don't need it - they still work overtime though and book the a*se off it, so it all works out in the end.

Heard today we have 20 hours SA across the board over Christmas. Unanimously agreed im my absence. Dont think RM fancied us working to rule etc, i think they realise our place would just collapse. West London that is your benchmark. Dont sell yoursaelves short!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
