Post codes areas

Post by Commsaver »

Credit Unions have to operate within certain 'common bonds' and the 3 credit unions within Royal Mail are divided by postcode areas. Roughly this splits out to be Commsave - Eastern Territories, PennyPost the South West inc Wales and Scottish Postal Workers being Scotland and the North of England. Surprised that Penny post have increased their interest rates, but as a member dont forget you have a say on such rule changes and you can attend the AGM to query any such decisions you are not happy with. As a member of the credit union you have the ultimate ownership of how it is run. If you are not happy make sure you tell them!

Apologies!

Post by Commsaver »

I'm really sorry to hear you have not received any information, but also very surprised as all requests are sent out the same day. The only thing i can think of is that maybe the address details were taken down incorrectly over the phone and therefore did not reach you?

Please email me your name and address to ai.commsave@btconnect.com and I will ensure that it is sent out to you immediately.

Kind Regards
Amanda

Hi all, thought I'd pop in to let you know to make it easier for members to join, we have now added an online application form. It can be found on our homepage http://www.commsave.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or by clicking this link: https://ssl.commsave.co.uk/

We currently have approximately 6,000 members saving over £10 million a year, and our first loans have be increased to £1,000 which over 1 year works out at just £20 per week.

Finally in the next month or so we are hoping to get approval for UK coverage, so will not have any problems with postcode areas not being eligible to join :nana

At last a great post.

Anyone remember the Christmas Club run by posties in Barnsley (s. yorks), where you save from wages and was paid out first week in December.

AAAHHHH The good old days :Applause :Applause

But, as per usual Royal Mail cancelled the club due to costs (transfering money from wages to bank account?)

Thank the volunteers for Credit Unions. :pray
Trust Royal Mail? God help us all.....

I know none of you particularly want to hear this already but Christmas will be on 25th december 2011!!

Now is a fantastic time to open a Christmas Savings account, you will then know that you've got everything covered when you are all rushing around under Christmas Pressure and fighting your way through the snow! :dance

Christmas can be an expensive and stressful time of year, but a little pre-planning can make a huge difference. Opening an account specially created to get the added costs wrapped up, can leave you free from worry and able to enjoy the festivities! :nana

We now have full coverage for England, Scotland & Wales but due to FSA regulations we are not able to cover Northern Ireland I'm afraid. You can apply online so no need to wait for application forms etc in the post, and will receive a welcome pack in the post explaining how everything works :Very Happy

To apply online you can click here:- https://ssl.commsave.co.uk/
