200 pound payment
Hi folks.
Been seeing posts saying that if you were off during the eligible period you will get pro rata payment then oothers saying you wont get anything.
Saw on initial announcement that those absent get pro rata.
I was off from 24th - 31 March isolating.
So do we or don't we>
Cheers

If you received full pay when you were off work, you will get the full bonus. Pro rata depending on your contracted hours. Wrong in my opinion but that seems to be the way.

Hector is correct. Two bookroom colleagues who self isolated for 7 and 14 days and meet the above criteria have had no deductions.
They have advance notice of their weekly pay via PSP.

That's not how mine worked out. I have been off for the last 2 months and on SSP (on zero pay) due to having the virus and wasn't expecting anything but got £150 and as still on SSP it was tax free! Occasionally RM bring a smile to my face.

I've not seen my wage slip yet, but I've checked my online banking. I'm on a 28 hour contract, had 1 week off self isolating (as suggested by my manager) and I've received an extra £97 on top of my usual weekly wage...

I also have not seen my pay slip but got an extra 90 odd quid pay. I am on a 27 hour contract and worked the whole period. So either a mistake has been made or it is being payed in installments! Anyone been paid the full amount?wilts_postie wrote:I've not seen my wage slip yet, but I've checked my online banking. Pro-rata. £200 divided by 38 = £5.27 p/h x 27 = £142.10 . Estimate deductions of tax - £28.42 & N.I. £17.05 = net pay of £96.63Jahpostie wrote:I also have not seen my pay slip but got an extra 90 odd quid pay. I paid £29.22 tax and NI on £313.75 basic pay so I can't see how I'd pay £45.47 tax and NI on £142.10.rogersh wrote:Pro-rata. £200 divided by 38 = £5.27 p/h x 27 = £142.10 . I was being stupid, you were right. Pretty depressing payment to be fair, particularly in light of the HR and finance bonuses.Jahpostie wrote:I paid £29.22 tax and NI on £313.75 basic pay so I can't see how I'd pay £45.47 tax and NI on £142.10.rogersh wrote:Pro-rata. £200 divided by 38 = £5.27 p/h x 27 = £142.10 . Personal allowance.
The first roughly £200 of your basic pay is tax free.
