Taking or teaching a driving lesson is down to personal choice. Being told you are to share a van with someone is a completely different kettle of fish

How many times must it be said - jobs that are IMPOSSIBLE to do while maintaining social distancing are not the same as jobs, like ours, which can be planned differently so it is

it is clear that no one takes any notice of the rules beaches packed protests parties, sitting next to a work mate with masks on for 30 mins a day is safe, its only the people who want to work alone that will make excuses thats rm workers for you.

Too many people have got it so easy at the moment they will kick and scream against going back in the vans together. It's a bit like the people who are enjoying their furlough time so keep saying it's too soon and dangerous to go back to work.

I hope van sharing is brought back, I've had enough of being on my own now. I suspect van sharing won't be brought back though, for this year at least or at all if I'm honest. Split shifts, later start and finish times are what the business have been after for years. They'll build the collections into afternoon duties like they do the current driving jobs; saving them a fortune in afternoon SA overtime.

The question is..... why are managers allowing some Posties to have it easy, it's not hard to see who finishes early everyday. Whereas I seem to be pushed and pushed to take more post and work every minute of my time....which is fine, but why let some other Posties have it so easy, but push me to the limit.

Do any of you lot want to go back to van sharing? I could probably still do my duty using a HCT.

Unless the HCT can be returned 3-4 times to the office and filled with parcels over a delivery span, I can't see the company wanting them used going forward. You can fit 4-5 times into a van easily.
