With the Down Turn In Letter Traffic , will TNT , UK Mail Etc decide processing " Letters " is not a profitable part of there business and pull out of the sector ?

In a way it would be a good thing as it could potentially save jobs on early shifts in MCs. iirc before DSA came along the mailsort used to be processed on early shifts

Does anyone know if letters will go up at all? Or will they stay how they are now and never recover..?

Is there a huge backlog of orders for marketing mail that is just being held back??.. makes no sense that it's all gone if it doesn't come back it will be 3 day USO within a year

Was DSA a competition ruling from the European Union. Now we are out shouldn't DSA stop.

No.
DSA was around a long time before the EU directive came into force.
We didn't call it DSA in those days but bulk senders have always been able to bypass certain sections of the network in return for a discount and that's all DSA is.

One example was DFS, anyone remember the sealed boxes of flats?
