Lol - you could say that of this one. Every site tends to have its own slant. You go where you feel comfortable I guess.

no suprises this site was set up by royal mail knowing that strikes were pending with regards to the 'plan' it was moderated by 'non' strikers quite suspicious in itself also the admin made no secrets about crossing the picket line but there again he was a manager anyway. The site was run from an office within r.m as most of the mods etc were coming on line at regular times the only way this would be posible is by sitting next to the next 'wave' of mod's as it were

Anyway they were comlete arse*oles any way, and you dare not speak anything except r.m rhetoric

Much of that is rhetoric Axeman. PMC definately wasn't based at RM HQ - was based up north. Newcastle, Sunderland, somewhere that way. News article on Hellmail (which it now redirects to I notice), explains why it closed. Seems reasonable. Forums hog bandwidth to say the least. If I got a sudden wave of Spitfire enthusiasts I'd be in the same boat. Can cost a fortune and members won't cough up enough to keep them going.

Blimey, you can tell it was a site run by management, no thankyou to it's members, just a "the site's now closed, goodbye.", message. :Very Happy
Oh, well, only to be expected I suppose. :Very Happy

Hang up your mail pouch and don't hang around this office anymore. Oh, and please return your uniform.

n.t kept an eye for a good period of time not saying it was set by a postie or manager but most deffinatly financed by r.m and now is surplus to requirements
how many mod's / admins do you see on line 3/4 in the morning regularly ? unless your doing a night shift  and of course have acces to a puter
there are other reasons but not going to discuss those :hmmmm

and further more iv'e just read hellfails 'tribute' to 'craig' now if thats enough to make you think exactly why pmc was set up it's main objective was to undermine the union and it's members i'm afraid i could not relate to many of the posters there as the bias was to pro r.m for me you had to be a sc*b
otherwise you faced the wrath of the admin, s.a etc....

Somehow I don't see Hell Mail doing a reciprocal hot link with us. But was it coincidence that they had a pro CWU article on a few days ago. :hmmmm . Probably.

Used both this site and the other, even had comments that disappeared though I considered them mild. All the same the conspiracy theory is a little extreme. A month or so ago the bloke that runs it was complaining of the cost - something like £30 a month - and asking whether people would like to make donations. The resulting poll was hardly encouraging so I can see why he ditched it - bearing in mind he claimed to have others jobs. One thing he didn't have were the animated emoticons that appear on here and when overused sometime make it difficult to read articles. Minor moan.

I hope those extremists from PMC don't show up on here.
