...as they did on thier employees, ie. taking out high court injunctions against strikes etc. then maybe they wouldn't need to be cutting costs left right and centre.
What i mean is why are Crozier and Leighton not doing everything they can to sort out the ridiculous situation with DSA?
Ie. pressure on Postcomm to change the regulations, rather than pissing about with flexibility and destroying the goodwill of thier workforce?
RM CAN compete, providing a much better service, if only the DSA was sorted out. I'm not saying get rid of DSA, (though that would be ideal it's not going to happen) but get a fair price. It's obvious that is no.1 thing that is wasting thier money so they should focus thier efforts on that.

They have and have appealed against the latest rejection but the sheer weight being exerted on RM by the EU and Postcomm (Postwatch only really cover customers) is even greater than the weight of RM on its workforce. Go read whats happening in the european parliament - thats where its all coming from.
