amazon

Post by thekiddykid »

Came home from work yesterday to find an Amazon parcel had been left on doorstep by ( you guessed it) TNT!!! My missus went nuts when i told her as there were 8 DVD,s and 6 CD,s in the box :evil/mad . If you want to save money on Christmas prezzies just follow a TNT delivery van around your walk. Shrek 1, 2, and 3 followed by Led Zeppelin after lunch on the 25th for free sounds good to me :Very Happy

Royal Mail deliver TNT packets for Amazon via DSA. I haven't seen a TNT van for ages.

Now here's a thought.......why don't we get the Royal Mail logo removed form the vans & replace it with TNT, Business Post, etc logos. We might as well, we deliver more of their stuff than we do our own nowadays!

Out here in the rurals we see a few TNT vans but I think we deliver the lions share of their mail, They tend to use for most of the Amazon stuff a service called TNT light I've noticed this several times. I think Amazon are still using RM for 1st class items aren't they?? :hmmmm
Makes me sick though knowing we are delivering TNTs post doing all the legwork and TNT is making vast profits at our expense :Sick ...I wonder if Amazon realise that RM still deliver a good proportion of their packets via TNT. :funneh
To go to TNT during the strike seemed just spitefull on Amazons part :evil/mad
LOVE being a postie

Amazon 2nd class packets are now being delivered 1st and 2nd class through RM again as opposed to TNT collecting the 2nd class and using DSA for the final mile.

When RM lost the contract earlier this year the media made a song and dance about it and when we win it back it never gets a mention.

I suspect this may be temporary as TNT can't cope with the demand over Christmas.
