if we don,t get 100% we will end up the same as the manchester airport workers in 2002 with a buy down on contracts and put on minimum wages, 3of us at macclesfield now how this feels so don,t let it happen again, at least we were able to take the money and run plus our pensions. :pray :pray :pray

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Welcome Molly to the best forum for posties anywhere. About the 100%I dont think its possible and from talking to my mates at work anything over 50% of the vote would be ok, 60% would be excellent and 70%+ we could be saying goodbye to Dum and Dummer.

Well said! Last time we lost a ballot, the management in our office were walking about for days as if they had scored the winning goal in the FA Cup Final. We don't want a repeat of those scenes.
The Industrial Workers of the World. The union whose members never scab!
