It probrbly been moved to save web space or dupliacte thread's it happen's to me sometime's but it is not delated you will find it somewhere.

It has not disappeared there is a question on whether or not is libellous so I moved it to Admin/Moderators private forum so that we can check it out. Don't forget that the law on Libel and slander applies just as much on the net as it does in real life. If Admin thinks its ok it will come back.

We have to be careful as not only can you be sued but so can the forum, that's why I keep asking everyone to self moderate. If we get sued we get closed down, this is probably why the CWU one was closed to many legal questions.

The head of Diversity and Inclusion will be visiting Woking Delivery office next week, if its liable slander, why are they making the effort to investigating????????????????????

Not being aware of that visit and receiving a complaint we had to act. However, I do know where your coming from and you have my full sympathy. I hope you enjoy your new job, and I hope you wont be a stranger on here.

Maybe, maybe not but can you afford to take on RM legal team, because I can't and neither can POSTMAN (unless he's a multi-millionaire who just wanted to be a postman ). It's best to leave the names to PM and use descriptions on the open boards.

YEP!!! as long as they can't be easily identified ie. my DOM from the Outer Turkmenistan DO was caught eating his own bogies you'll be fine

things have to be worded in a vague & ambigious way: example Daily Mirror -Wicked Whispers -A morning agony auntie had to be sent home 'and had to change her knickers ;from the watering hole she usually frequents after her broadcast. Doesn't take much working out who that was but it just about stays within the libel laws .

If a local rag gets a sniff of something like a manager being caught fiddling , they've to word things very carefully using stuff like believed to be , the CWU confirmed such & such . If someone was in the magistrates court being charged , then they could be more specific; otherwise the RM legal machine would be looking for them.

Crozier set the lawyers on C4 after Dispatches even with filmed evidence . It's a form of thuggery only it involves more money and thugs in pinstripe suits .

All this stuff makes RM very paranoid, just use titles , it's stuff they'd rather keep down . RM would love to close this site down, hence the dark side article and the editorials on Hellmail .

Example -Woking -a delivery office in Paul Weller's home town . Play RM at the same game they play . People will soon fill in the gaps and word will get round , it'll still make RM paranoid .

This was a good post and there was some strong comments that were true and from the heart. I think its great we can express ourselves on here, but we all have to exercise a little caution. But I agree wholeheartedly with the comments that were made the job really sucks at the mo, and I hope it gets better otherwise..........................Well!.... do a search on google "going postal" ....THATS the way forward!!!
