What a disgusting company we work for. There’s been quite alot of anecdotal postman hospital admissions and deaths amongst posts on this board. Yet I’ve only seen a statement of condolence from the company for two individuals. However I don’t read the rubbish they put out so someone may correct me?

I can only speculate as to numbers. The death rate in the UK population is 0.0005384. For 30thousand London bus drivers this would amount to 16 deaths. However, as of a week ago there were actually 28 confirmed....

Looking at the ONS release on deaths by occupation in England and Wales (not including Scotland and NIreland), it seems 20 have died by 20th April for postal workers, sorters, couriers and messengers. Elsewhere on the site they give this group a workforce of 168000 so I guess it’s basically Royal Mail employees?

It’s under table 8 of this excel spreadsheet
