Still waiting for the Union's response on the major developments of yesterday ,but i suppose they don't know whats going on because Royal Mail don't recognise them anymore,might as well scrap your membership because these guys don't give a monkies about you.

ive been behind the union for years but the last couple of years with the one's at the top at the moment has been the weakest we've ever had,i believe in the union just not the pussy cats at the top who do nothing but talk.

We are probably at our weakest in terms of job security at the moment - loads of people are out of work, I heard the other day on the news that a full qualified pilot was now driving Tesco delivery vans - it's a crazy backdrop to be putting our jobs on the line. Royal Mail know that as well... they will factor in maybe an initial push back from front line workers against this so-called temporary change to the USO, but they know we won't have the numbers to cause any disruption to their deviously timed plans. Bills have go to be paid, families housed and fed. They know that.

I would suggest the best response initially would be to take out large or full page adverts in the national press to explain to the public that Posties did not ask for these changes. Also that the changes will likely make it more difficult to deliver the mail in a timely fashion and that the union have been resisting similar changes to those now being introduced.
We need to get the public on-side if we are going to take industrial action.

I would beg to differ as the majority of the workforce will not want to accept the changes in the document. Even if industrial action is out of the question or is not wanted by the workforce either the public are still being fed a lie which they will likely accept as gospel.

Not the time for strike action testing kits going though the mail for NHS staff and care home workers and house bound as well as medicines and we are in a national emergency hope royalmail go to the high courts and get it made illegal get real Ward and Pullanger.
