So people are not allowed in your home , you have to keep 2 metres away from each other so why are RM allowing others to use my van each day? The O/T people keep taking my van each day , you just dont know if they have CV . I"M using small wipes we have to try clean it but they really aren"t going to clean it properly . Should this be allowed ????

no need to be abusive.

I think they were just making the point that the van that is allocated to their duty that they use everyday is also being used by other's to do overtime. is that right under the current circumstances? does there office supply them with cleaning products to clean the van? it's a grey area with potential dangerous outcomes.

Best thing I can advise is to take a tiny bottle of bleach (if need to be use a small coke bottle) and some kitchen roll then give it a wipe down. No, we shouldn’t have to clean ‘our’ vans but being stubborn at this time just to prove a point could have dangerous consequences.
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

Surely they have to have a day off or are they working 6 days just so nobody else uses "their" van!!

Just because we work in a "factory environment" whatever that is. It doesn't mean you can be blunt with your "jokes" to other people

Why do you need to be "thickskinned" to deliver letters? Why not just be kind and normal?

If you keep offending people because it's " just banter" people with think you're a prick, you know that?

Calling me a prick now! you call urself kind and normal? stop bullying me, says lot about you! ill be the bigger man, have a nice day everyone! sorry to anyone offended by saying u have to be thick skinned in this place, to the original point! the guy has a point we all don't feel safe at the moment others using our vans on overtime or days off, but nothing we can do about it, we are all just a number in their, it be nice for us all to be important and have special treatment but postmen are just a number , at least it feels like we are being treated like numbers
