Postmen with CV19 is your office getting deep cleaned

We have a Postman with CV 19 in our office and is now off work , did other offices with workers with the virus get a deep clean because all our cleaners do at the moment is change toilet rolls and soap and mop the floor

Who does these deep cleans? Is it a specialist team sent in with all the proper gear or just the ‘normal Romec Cleaner’ who’s been given a larger than normal bottle if cleaner to squirt round the bog? In other words is it something taken seriously or as is the standard with RM is it just a paper exercise?

someone in our office had Covid 19 all that happened was the manager wiped his frame and van with some wipes! He is recovering well but now his van partner is off with symptoms which is no surprise as they work right next to each other with no barrier and much closer than 2 metres apart, yet our manager was dismissing it as a mild flu and over reaction! You couldn’t make our managers up could you

Normal cleaner with a bigger bottle.

Paper exercise so when / if the true death toll comes out RM can say "we introduced new strict cleaning procedures".

We all know the drill. They are the lowest of the low.

I think our cleaners attempts at cleaning is a bit like clearing the debris of mount Vesuvius with a dustpan and brush. The loo rolls and the bins get changed daily but the floor only gets a birthday once a year. Haven't seen any of the frames getting washed down and cleaned either.

Our office walked out the other week over the cleaning of a frame. We were told it was cleaned (ie, the feather duster treatment), then that became it will be cleaned (by a crack team of specialists... arriving later, so would you mind going back to work now?), then finally the sector manager declared 'deep clean' is just a buzzword and the frame is as clean as it's ever likely to be.

Our office was allegedly deep cleaned but I think they just sprayed some disinfectant about in the air as nothing had been physically moved at all.
