I cannot believe that we are not making a huge amount of profit with all the packets we are handling through the system. I’m sure someone on here could explain, how we aren’t making a huge profit. Or is someone somewhere cooking the books,if you know what I mean!!!!!!!! :no no

The chief executive of Rentokil, Andy Ransom, has slashed his salary by 35 per cent, and donated the rest of it to an employee fund.

Also there still a ftse100 company unlike RM’s recent performance...

Where the hell is Rico these days

In my probably quite uninformed opinion I'd say that they always claimed that the profit from parcels subsidised the loss from letters,so currently obviously loads of parcels, not so many letters which should equal more profit, but on the other hand theres a lot of posties off self isolating etc so maybe that's cancelling it out.

Any thoughts on that theory ?

Today’s letter. Also feel that there are more stamped letters, with people writing to each other! Also photo postcards with printed messages on them.

It's must be one hell of a letter. He's been drafting it for about 4 weeks now. Any idea if there is a copy of this magnum opus for us to read online.

Not had the letter yet but he's a bit late sending it - toilet rolls are easier to get now.

Decline in international parcels, decline in revenue for GLS, high sick record probably won't be mitigated by the high level of domestic parcels, nor the dividend cut. That's my twopennorth anyhows.....

He probably thinks they will be worth a lot of money in years to come, heck some might even want to frame It and put it up in their living room.
