Was your cancer avoidable, no! Exposure to Covid19 can be reduced with fairly simple steps and by managing the situations properly.

As someone who has recovered from a potentially fatal desease i would have thought you would have more respect for life.
This is correct.

The problem that we face is that we are being put in a position where minimizing risk to ourselves is becoming increasingly difficult.

Joe Public ordering cosmetic consumer goods only makes it even harder.

Deaths in the community account for an additional 70% so the overall total won't be far off 20,000 now after 1 month. We haven't even reached the peak yet and will be looking at 4 figure death numbers a day this coming week. The way's it going wouldnt be surprised if we are looking at between 50 and 100 thousand deaths before the summers out.

Nah sorry, I'm pleased that Doris is enjoying watching the birds but it's still not essential,is it, it's causing posties to spend even more time in the office before going out on delivery,in my office we're absolutely stuffed with parcels as I'm sure all the others are, so you'll be as aware as I am of how increasingly difficult it is to implement social distancing.

What's the evidence for that, please?

I'd be surprised if that were true given that, with the exception of those in nursing and care homes, almost everyone exhibiting signs of life-threatening symptoms will have been admitted to hospital.

I had a small parcel which was caterpillars. The woman came to her door just to remind me to close the gate on the way out. Naturally I ignored her.

On a side not I told my managers I wouldn’t be delivering any D2D unless it was already prepped before I got there. This included Boris letters. Needless to say it wasn’t prepped so 6 D2Ds are piling up.

I’m happy to do overtime but I’m adopting a zero fu**s attitude.

Taken from an episode of Newsnight start of last week (or tail end of the week before), they were quoting the Office for National Statistics info showing 500 hundred and odd community deaths (as at the 27/3 if memory serves), the deaths in hospital total at that point was 900 hundred or so.

If you go in at a later time like I am myself the office is empty when I go in to bag up thereby not coming into to contact with others.Other than actually in the office I can’t see where we are at a high risk of contracting it now that the customers are not touching the pda and we’re putting the parcels on the doorsteps. As long as you wipe van down prior to use and keep hands regularly clean not touching your face I don’t see the problem.Think about the poor doctors and nurses on the front line.

Day 14 since Bird table arrived and Doris sits down with her tea to watch the birds. Today is different. No birds on the table. What the hell she thinks ? She goes to the window for a closer look. Dear God she wails, My birds are pecking that postman's eyes out who has just collapsed with exhaustion due to the selfishness of the Great British publics fascination with Amazon…..

I know how to solve this she thinks...… I will call my kindly neighbour and get them to order me a gold fish bowl on amazon prime.....
