Is there some hidden thing in RMC rules that says members have to fit YOUR criteria IWW or have we missed something. Small man - big words but not much else. Go play in your own garden.

In my experience, the 'feel good factor' is rarely from the top of the chain. As for being a 'tosser' Belial, you'd fit that crown fine on yoir own.

I didn't have the benefit of a classical education, so I'll take your word for it. Listening to Trojan Reggae is the closest I ever came to the ancient world.

Alot has been said about RM being a business and not there to please the workers ok thats fair enough. SO being a business should it not be the customers who are most important. All these new rules are messing with what used to be the best postal service in the world. People got thier mail before they went to work now they are lucky if they get it on the right day. Nine o clock special deliveries are being sold and the postmen dont even receive them til after his time in my office.

Profits need to made yes but scrimping on services and penalising the workforce is not the best way to do this. Maintaining a top service and targetting the competition is. The strategy provided by crozier and Leighton is destined to fail as it is built on sand, there is only so far you can cut back on staffing. I didnt want this deal as it is in the interests of noone. Instead of wasting thier time by flogging the workers, they and the CWU should have been coming up with ideas to put the competition out of business.

As for the result of all this it is clear to see that Crozier/Leighton will now be laughing all the way to the bank when they leave the RM in a couple of years with a big payoff cheque. They have achieved what they wanted to, more work for less and postmen across the country fighting eachother instead of them
