I doubt our leaders would allow it, but could their be a way of allowing NHS staff to send and receive a number of parcels for free?
Would the union back it?

If posties cant send stuff for free why would, and should, NHS staff be allowed to?
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

And........ it's their job! Why should they be given anything else free? And I'm saying this as the husband of an NHS worker. My Mrs doesn't want sympathy, freebies, claps by strangers. She just wants the proper PPE to keep her safe doing what she's paid to do.2yearpostie wrote:Because they might just keep you or your kids alive..Acca Dacca wrote:If posties cant send stuff for free why would, and should, NHS staff be allowed to?

Some of this stuff is going over the top, those on the front line do an amazing job day in day out.
All this pandering is the Government trying to take away the bollox that has gone on in the NHS for years.
The NHS is for life, not just for pandemics.
Don't forget what you're doing as well, don't sell yourself short.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
