No
which paper, any chance of a scan.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Its in a News Forum post but this is it.
http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/cont ... d=51600692
You may be aware that our postmen and postwomen are currently being balloted for strike action across the UK. I want to reassure you that we will do everything in our power to maintain the service we provide to all of you every day.
We are very proud of the role we play in the UK – delivering 82 million letters every day, Monday to Saturday, to every door. We are also hugely ambitious for the future of the Royal Mail, which is why we have fought hard to secure from the Government a £1.2 billion investment. This gives us, for the first time ever, the opportunity to modernise our business to allow us to compete in the open market. This is the only way we will be able to protect the one-price-goes-everywhere universal service we are so proud of – and to provide you with the best quality and value for money postal service in the UK.
The competition is gathering strength and we need to make sure we are fit to compete. We have a unique opportunity – not just to respond to the competition, but to get ahead of the game.
We are deeply disappointed that the Communications Workers Union has asked their members to ballot for strike action – especially as there is a very fair offer on the table for our people.
Clearly we don’t want a strike. We will do everything we can to minimise any problems a strike will cause. But we can’t turn back the tide of competition and we must move ahead with the modernisation of the business. This is the only way to protect the long-term future of the Royal Mail, on which we know our customers depend.
Thank you for your continued support.
