Its a bit irish. 9am specials delivered by 12, 1pm specials delivered by 9pm. So they could have kept the 1pm specials then?

No, why do you think that? Basically because of 'the situation' 1pm SD's have basically become SD 'Next day' - it means2yearpostie wrote:.....1pm specials delivered by 9pm. So they could have kept the 1pm specials then?
you don't have to arse about breaking off from your route especially if there's lapsing/absorption or rounds failing in your office.
Hopefully this will become a standard after this s**t show is behind us.

Yeah fair point, depends how many you regularly get on your walk I suppose. Haven't seen a 9AM'er personally since Xmas.2yearpostie wrote:But you now have to break off to do the 9am specials by 12! Have Royal Mail reviewed their prices to reflect the 'temporary' changes in service then?? A 1pm special to be delivered next day. What's the point in queuing up as usual to get them then?? They might as well sort them with the all the usual packets and tracks.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

SDs can be high value stuff, why do you think that at both MCs and DOs they get sorted in a SECURE AREA?postslippete wrote:Have Royal Mail reviewed their prices to reflect the 'temporary' changes in service then??
