The oldest ads I can remember was the black and white Rael-Brook Shirts ones.

When I was a kid all the ads were in black and white, it was a black and white telly. The only colour TVs were in the window of Radio Rentals.

They are still a thing BTW....in Australia.

Back in the day, our family got our first TV. My sisters, brothers and I were so excited when we sat on the lounge floor up close to the TV. Us little ankle-biters would stare at it for hours.

Then after a while we turned to our dad sitting on the sofa and asked him, "So dad, when are they going to bring electricity to our town?"
