It's really not.
An individual voice is not a union.
Organising many individuals into one voice is a union.

Ineffective reps and national officers use that line often to cover their own failings, passing the buck down to an individual with the least amount of influence and power is in my opinion pathetic.

There's no difference between that and Rico blaming you personally for the dire state of the company.

Our rep has given up ! hes getting no backing or guidance from his area rep ! the company has won there is now no doubt about it unfortunately !

They have a endless procession of willing anguard staff to do our jobs too. I’ve never seen as many it’s like xmas pressure x2. If we ever strike guessing they will have no qualms about their attendance.

Terry made it clear last week if you don't feel safe dont go in, so stop banging on about it and stay home

Terry the politician? Says one thing one day something else the next? Heard him say in his lip service videos don't go in one day and use the 19whatever year H&S act and you'll get full union backing then the next day he's telling you go in and speak to your rep if you're not happy. Same thing happened when someone asked about confirmed cases of CV19 in offices he said shut the place down, no one is to go, it's got be cleaned top to bottom then few days later it's all well you shouldn't be going, it should be cleaned and it should be this and it should be that.

I’m half expecting him to say while he hasn’t managed to get us Saturday off, he’s come to an agreement and we now have good Friday and Easter Monday off!
