Will I get paid?

Post by Lawrencepa2014 »

I had to self isolate from Monday as I am living with my gf and she has cold and cough symptoms. I’ve been there for less than a year but only by a couple of weeks. I heard we would get paid but now just read that they will be changing it from the end of March?! Any ideas please?

No one will give you a definite answer mate. But I think it’s yes.

Read the stickies, the answers are there.
The answer is you get paid, ignore what you heard.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Hi, nowhere on the document, does it state you will get full pay?

Our understanding of the current position is that employees could be isolating for between 7 and 14 days and
this could be extended by around a week if they develop symptoms during self-isolation.

All absences should be treated as sickness absence. Managers should choose “Coronavirus with Symptoms” if
the employee has symptoms and “Coronavirus Self Isolation” if they do not have symptoms.
If you live with someone who has symptoms, you'll need to self-isolate for 14 days from the day their symptoms started. This is because it can take 14 days for symptoms to appear.
