I’m proud to be getting on with it. If the Non-Essential items like vinyl records, make up, beer, fancy dress items keep people happy while all their freedom has been taken away then we’re contributing to keeping people sane ... we are essential. Stop crying or sign of sick with stress for 6 months and let the rest of us get on with it.
All well and good, but when your in the age group more at risk, with hypertension blood pressure, then the lets get on with it attitude does not come so easy to except. If your a bit younger and fitter then it does not seem so scary.
Sign off sick and get out of the way ... nobody is being forced to work
There is no reason to be so aggressive. Everyone is handling this the best they can and you being an arse on the internet with someone who has genuine concerns is not welcome.

This is a job, a pretty tedious and mostly irrelevant cog in the chain of buying pointless tat and I've been doing it for the best part of 30 years. Yes people are grateful when they get stuff but I'm grateful when my local landlord pours me a pint. It doesn't make it crucial to the running of the country.

People just want to go to work and feel as safe as they can possibly be and unfortunately it's not just the employer that makes that difficult, sometimes it's the recklessness of our colleagues.
Absolute heroes the lot of them, no doubt the kind who think it’s just flu.
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

some healthcare workers have begun preparing letters to be used in case they die, putting into writing how they were told to work without adequate PPE. She said they were “thinking ahead for insurance and litigation purposes” to ensure their families receive sufficient compensation.

Royal Mail said during the meeting it is safe for you to work in your offices without the full provision of Personal Protective Equipment. Royal Mail believe washing hands is the ‘gold standard’ for safety and enough protection for employees.

Excellent. Let’s all return to the office after each loop regardless of if you are 2 or 22 miles away. Repeat till your time is up, don’t go over your time.

Most managers are doctors as well though. I’m surprised they haven’t volunteered to help the NHS out.

Good idea.

Also don't forget that after all the stuff you've been handling you need to clean your van interior surfaces and anything else you've been touching.

Yep! There can be no recourse for action if we're following their instructions. Play em at their own game!
