The power of the written word!

It's to augment and drive home the message. Same thing they do with elections. Same thing companies do to sell. You get the TV advert, then the letter/leaflet.

Why do you think they 'waste' the money doing this? Because it works!

I dunno, the amount of 'posties' on here that want to talk themselves out of work...

You're right there. Receiving a letter for anything always makes it feel more authentic and important. This is what I would consider important mail. The problem is this and other important mailings are being buried in junk and being left behind. RM need to speed up their decision making and skip to the point where they suspend none essential mail now. Not next month! I thought Rico was all about delivering at pace but all this has proven is how slow and sluggish this company really is to change. Not at OPG level but at upper management level.

Reading a few of the posts on this thread, it seems there are a few individuals who don’t want to do nothing. Maybe it’s time for you to leave. And see if the grass is really greener out there.
