Postmen and women get a thank you from Michael Gove

Just listening to the latest from the government on BBC and we actually got recognised for the risks we are taking.
On a more sombre note. Was listening to the radio and a mother came on the radio for advice. The advice was whether or not she could go into her sons bedroom as he had passed away from coronavirus.
People were just phoning up for advice so was a bit of a shock to the presenter and doctor on the show. The son was 57, London taxi driver and suffering for a week with the effects. Started to feel better, got up to use the loo. On the way fell down dead in his tracks. NO underlying health conditions. Paramedics arrived 10 mins later and obviously couldn't revive him.
Really sad and scary.

Must have been a heart attack. The virus doesn't cause sudden death.

Gove gave an announcement a short time ago where he says that rate of COVID-19 infection "has been doubling every three to four days."

Gove said thanks! Oh thats ok then, I won't sleep Sunday night with the excitement of going to work Monday morning to serve my country with the words of thanks ringing in my ears from Michael Gove.
My wife works in hospital, when they announced the 'clap for NHS' the other night,she just said , I don't want a clap from the public, just give me a mask!
All this social media Facebook crap means nothing.

The clap was a nice gesture but I did wonder how many of the people that took part have happily voted for the party that has chronically underfunded the NHS and massively impacted all kinds of social care with their austerity policies for the last 10 years.

What an utter scumbag!!!

In any decently run society, this man would be sectioned and detained under the mental health act.

With any luck him and his ilk will be arrested and charged with crimes against humanity when all this nonsense is over.
