I am not going to demand the people I live with not to go out of the house and say 'THINK ABOUT ME!!!!' you cannot go to work!, you cannot go to Tesco!', you cannot go and exercise!.
So I would not expect them to say to me the same thing you just said.
And yes, being young and healthy means you will highly likely be fine if you get the virus, but it doesn't mean we are going to work and walking up to the most vulnerable person at the depot and kissing them, nor does it mean we are coming home and breathing in our grandad's face.
Any vulnerable RM employees should be at home and anybody who lives with vulnerable people shouldn't be be going to work or should arrange to live in different properties.

Yes, I'm happy to work. I'm happy to be doing something (even if insignificant) to help. I know we are delivering a lot of non-essential items but if people are ordering stuff online it saves them going out to supermarkets to buy it. Have delivered contact lenses and other items to NHS staff and other key workers this week. It mightn't be much but it helps them.

I'm ok to work, I wouldn't say happy. There are too many unknowns regarding covid19.
My partner was horrified by the amount of uk deaths due to covid19 so I googled the yearly death rate in the uk.
I was shocked that the amount was over 500,000 with over 60,000 caused by respiratory disease.
Before this recent virus started reaping havoc the media was often focusing on mental health problems and I feel that for many people who are self isolating or forced to stay in, mail and " pointless packets " are helping them get through the isolation. The past few days my collection boxes have contained mainly hand written cards.
