So it's impossible.

For me I am highly unlikely to die from getting the virus so I just get on with it.

Still got to go out the house now and again to have some enjoyment doing exercise or going to the supermarket so it's just sods law if you get it.

It's the old and vulnerable that need to be extremely careful........Me...I should be fine and no1 will care if I died anyway, so it's all good.
Do you live alone ?
No. Live in a rented home with other tenants, so I can't avoid them either. So I am not worrying. I am not a vulnerable person and it's pretty difficult to avoid others, whether working, shopping, exercising, or at home. So I am fine with working.

I really can't get to grips with this mindset. This is an easy, stress-free job. You deliver as much as you can (or want to), hand in your keys and go home. I don't wake up worrying about anything work related any more, I know that much. Some of you need to try something different to see how easy we really have it.

As for the poll, I am willing to work, want to in fact. This is my first post too. Am I Rico in disguise?

Pre coronavirus I’d agree with you. Since the disease has started spreading in this country I no longer feel safe at work.
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

And that's a valid concern if it's how you feel. No complaints here.

I'd rather be at work, especially as the weather will get better.

I'd go mental staying at home. This idea that we could be stuck indoors for months, no Euros, no Olympics, no Wimbledon, no Masters golf......and no holiday to barbados this year....

I'd rather be out in the sun delivering and risking getting the virus.

I should probably add outdoors I’m happy, there’s the odd idiot opening the door or coming to the gate but that’s about it. I use hand sanitizer after every loop and feel I’m doing as much as I can.

Indoors is where the issue is with lack of social distancing - some of it the fault of management but we have to take some responsibility too, so many of us just aren’t giving each other space.

I now avoid indoor work and as of this week come in later when everyone has left so I’m happier than I was.
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

It will be interesting to see if/when an antibody test becomes available how many of us guessed right and how many just had flu, a heavy cold or a hangover.
That’s what I don’t fully understand. You feel symptoms so self isolate for 7 days and then return to work. No test is available so you can’t know for sure if you’ve had it or not. A few weeks later you start to feel similar symptoms. Do you assume the first time was coronavirus so don’t self isolate or do you self isolate for a second time in case the first time wasn’t corona?

Im happy to work. Rather be outside providing a service than stuck in doors clawing my hair out. But then again I am young (early 20s) and therefore not much at risk if I catch it. I totally understand some of my older colleagues concerns.

Age doesn't seem to matter, I've seen mentions on the news of younger people with no underlying health issues suffer really badly from it

I read today she actually went to hospital with a heart attack and died from that but had mentioned a cough so got put down as coronavirus. Horrible for the girls family no matter what but this arrogance about I'm young so will be fine is unreal. Think of the people you live with, family or friends. What about your colleagues etc too.
