On the night shift at a mail centre yesterday an employee called the police after a manager had a huddle and didn't take kindly to objections from staff, he called their bluff after someone threatened to call the police so they did.

this should be done all over from mc to d/o let rm get the fines for not following the social distance rules

Wow I would love to say I can’t believe that but I can.. I also work at a very big mail centre and have concerns about social distancing while working.. how is it working regarding toilets and rest areas ..
Main question I have is are you allowed to clean the area you work on after shift change ie..mech area...
Also do posties if worried about working because of vulnerable people at home can you qualify for salary furlough

Nope. You have to take paid leave or unpaid special leave. Which is what I am doing as of today. Enough was enough. My families health is worth more than Rico's bottom line.
